Grace Arner
The Female Empowerment Foundation is proud to recognize Grace Arner as one of this year's FEFA Award recipients for her exceptional leadership, unwavering commitment to service, and dedication to creating opportunities that positively impact others. Through her achievements in Scouting, volunteerism, music, and community involvement, Grace has demonstrated that true leadership is measured not only by personal accomplishments but by the lives one helps enrich.
At just sixteen years old, Grace has already distinguished herself as a trailblazer within her community by becoming the first female Eagle Scout from Northampton Township. Earning Scouting's highest honor required years of perseverance, leadership, and service, culminating in an Eagle Scout project that reflected both creativity and compassion. Recognizing that many students face financial barriers to participating in school music programs, Grace organized a community-wide initiative to collect, repair, and distribute musical instruments while raising additional financial support for the Council Rock Music Foundation. Her efforts generated more than $30,000 in donated instruments and monetary contributions, helping ensure that students who might not otherwise have the means to afford an instrument are able to experience the educational and personal benefits of music.
Grace's commitment to leadership extends far beyond her Eagle Scout achievement. She completed the prestigious National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) program, where she strengthened her leadership, communication, and team-building skills alongside other young leaders from across the region. She is also an active member of the Order of the Arrow, Scouting America's National Honor Society, and currently serves on her local Order of the Arrow Executive Committee. In this leadership role, she helps organize service initiatives, mentor fellow Scouts, and promote the values of servant leadership, integrity, and community involvement.
Service has become a defining characteristic of Grace's life. She has devoted more than 250 hours volunteering at youth camps, where she mentors younger Scouts, teaches outdoor skills, and helps create meaningful experiences that encourage confidence, teamwork, and personal growth. Her dedication to conservation has also led her to participate in numerous environmental stewardship projects, contributing countless hours toward preserving natural spaces and promoting responsible outdoor recreation. Whether working with children or protecting the environment, Grace consistently demonstrates a desire to leave every community better than she found it.
In addition to her service and leadership accomplishments, Grace is deeply involved in the arts and her school community. She performs with both her school's orchestra and chamber orchestra, sings in the choir, and shares her passion for the performing arts as a member of the Golden Wings Theater Company. Her love of music and performance reflects the same creativity and commitment that inspired her Eagle Scout project, allowing her to combine personal passions with meaningful service to others.
Grace also remains actively engaged in her faith community through Langhorne Presbyterian Church and Council Rock South's Christian Fellowship Club, where she continues to serve others while strengthening her personal values. Whether she is leading fellow Scouts, mentoring younger students, performing on stage, or volunteering within her community, Grace approaches every opportunity with humility, enthusiasm, and an unwavering commitment to making a positive difference.
As she enters her junior year at Council Rock High School South, Grace has already established herself as a remarkable example of servant leadership and civic responsibility. Her willingness to dedicate her time, talents, and energy to helping others embodies the mission of the Female Empowerment Foundation and serves as an inspiration to young people throughout the community.
